I have made many types of candles. When i started my adventure into candle making I thought no big deal melt wax add color, scent and pour into jar. I soon found out that it was a little like chemistry. My first candles came out terribly,so the I purchased the book from Amazon candle making for beginners. It proved to be a wise choice.
I first had. to learn all the items i would need they include
….melting pot important as was can get very hot and causess fire. The pot keeps
temperature consistent. You have to remember not to touch thee wax
2.Wicks for candle. depends if you plan to make pillar candles or tea lights.. if
Wick to long can cut dowm. De ide on cadles want to make as you will need a jar,
You will get wax melting while set up your mold.
3. You must make sure mold is clean and dry.
4. Using hot glue gun stick wick to bottom of container. You may use use 1-3 wicks per
Container. In my area we use to lose loose power all the time i liked the three,
as it would give me that ext light. I always keep candles around for power
5. I then have add a label which you an purchase at crafting craze that warn people
.. about safe use of candles. This is mandatory if you plan to sell.
6. Making the wax. I bought large bags of chips of soy wax. There’s many types of wax
. but the soy always came out the best. You melt your wax slowly melting in
. Pot. Stirring frequently to be sure that all wax is melted. Then the
‘ll tricky part of adding sent and color to the wax. You will find multiple
scents and colors . It is somewhat like trial and error at first because
it may look and smell treat when candles are but hot look much different when
cooled down. Try to keep track of how much scent and color block you use, when, you find the right scent and color combinations when you add your write it down. Color and scent must be stired very well, because it takes awhile for everything to blend. That is the basics of candle making. I loved making candles they smell great and are relaxing. The Vanilla scent reduces odors. Hope. you visit craftingcraze.com for the best supplies. Thanks to all of you that visit the site.
